Crushed leather processing technology
Step 1: Raw Material Sorting
This is the primary key to the processing of crushed leather, determining the quality of the product. Firstly, classify the raw materials according to animal species, and then classify them according to their parts such as head, seat, block, leg, spine, tail, and throat, with a requirement for left and right order and front and rear legs. Then, sort the fine materials and separate the same part of the raw materials according to their color depth, shape, and size.
Step 2: Match and Trim
This is the second stage of leather crushing processing, and the product grade and material consumption mainly depend on the matching activity. Strict attention should be paid to three aspects. Firstly, leather boards should not contain raw boards, waste boards, oil boards, or hair removal boards. The second is the hairline, which should be evenly matched in terms of length, precision, foot and air. The third is color, which should be consistent, especially for dyed hair, color is more important. The cutting process is divided into 5 small steps. 1 is wet spraying, 2 is a flat plate, and 3 is swinging. 4 is cutting, 5 is busy and connected, and finally 12 to 13 small pieces of material are pieced together to form a whole mattress. The specification is 3.5 feet by 1.7 feet. Then use cotton thread to connect each interval.
Step 3: Sewing and Repairing
The traditional technique for connecting a mattress with a busy thread is to manually sew the connecting seams between the broken leather and the broken leather. The stitches are required to be evenly distributed, with an average of 21 to 23 stitches per inch. The inlay depth is required to be moderate, and its biggest advantage is that it does not lock hair, damage or affect the color and pattern of the fur. Then, for areas with holes or no hair, they must be sewn or replaced with the same material.
Step 4: Nail Board Forming
Nailing is the most important step in the entire leather crushing process, and it must be operated by a technician. Divide into 4 small steps. 1. Spray wet with clean water. Spray the entire leather board evenly to increase moisture content. 2 is the stretching of the upper board. The specific operation is to use iron nails (1.2 to 1.4 inches) to nail the edges of the mattress according to the specifications of the finished product, and place it in a ventilated place to dry. If necessary, hanging wires can be arranged in rows and made with specialized nails, with a spacing of 1-2 centimeters, to ensure that the pattern is not deformed, horizontal and vertical, and to ensure that the leather board is not damaged.
Step 5: Decorate the Board
Use specialized iron pliers to start the nails on the board used, then organize and decorate, mainly by cutting off thread ends, digging out floating hairs, and filling gaps and small openings that are not tightly sealed to achieve tightness. Cut the edges according to the specifications of the finished product to achieve neatness. Then, scrape the rough surface of the trimmed leather and fur products several times with a ruler or a dust blower to remove dust and activate the rough edges, achieving a clean finished product. At this point, a mattress has been processed. As a reserve bedding material for garment production.
Step 6: Pressing the Lining
Press the entire mattress material through a lining machine, and the lining fabric should be non-woven.
Step 7: Cutting
Cut the padded bedding according to the garment specifications.
Step 8: Sewing
Machine sew the cut bedding pieces.
Step 9: Sort and Inspect
Remove any loose threads and conduct a final inspection.
